How it all began...
In 2004, after a life spent in the world of motors as founder and team manager of the auto motive team Euro team, which took part in the 24 Hour Le Mans race and for several years in the DTM championship – first as the official Alfa Romeo team and successively with Opel –, Gabriele Seresina took management of the estate belonging to the Counts Feltrinelli restructuring it and restoring it to its ancient splendour. In May of the following year, the Boutique Hotel Villa Sostaga opened its doors to a holiday experience which still today combines a warm welcome, comfort, finesse in its furnishings – carefully chosen by the house patron, signora Gabriella, a great expert of fashion – and a phenomenal gastronomy; the latter, “legacy” of Grandmother Martina, who was the personal cook of the unforgotten poet Gabriele D’Annunzio. Her recipes, just like her ancient remedies and sublime alcoholic preparations, have survived over a succession of decades up to today. We intend to hand down the spirit (and kindness) in our gourmet restaurant. What are you waiting for?
